Accounting is often referred to as the language of business and is the backbone of any organization. As an accountant, you will measure, analyze and report on the financial status of a business or organization following generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Due to its in-depth analytical focus, accounting is also a great foundation for business owners and other professions.

Upon graduation, you will be prepared to take the Registered Accounting Practitioner (RAP) certificate exam, as well as be familiar with the topics covered in the exams for Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) and Special Enrollment Exam (SEE) for Enrolled Agents (EA).
