Biology is the science of life and living organisms. The Minnesota State Biology Transfer Pathway Associate of Science (AS) program allows you to complete your associate degree at South Central College and then transfer to a Minnesota State University as a Junior to complete a bachelor's degree.

The Biology Transfer Pathway AS degree offers you a powerful option: the opportunity to complete an associate of science degree with course credits that directly transfer to a designated bachelor’s degree program at Minnesota State universities.
The curriculum has been specifically designed so that students completing this pathway degree and transferring to a Minnesota State system university will enter with junior-year status. All courses in the Biology Transfer Pathway associate degree will directly transfer and apply to designated bachelor’s degree programs in a related field:
