Dan Sprague is assuming a new responsibility as member of the strategic communications committee for the Collaborative, a Minnesota Department of Transportation’s body that determines the work of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program within MnDOT’s office of civil rights. That’s a lot of words to say it’s a big deal and please congratulate Dan the next time you see him.
Duane Hoversten will be guiding the Glencoe Chamber members through six months of marketing peer-to-peer learning. “Everyone is excited about learning from each other. We have a wonderful mix of expertise in our group,” he said.
Scott Taylor convinced the Faribault Rotary that Minnesota is a great place to do business. Using statistics from MetroMSP.org he convinced them to not pay attention to just the media and look at the underlying soundness of our statewide economic base.
Chad Oudekerk challenged the members of the New Prague Chamber to “Leverage the Internet” in their business. His April 27th talk helped many understand they can make significant improvements to their e-commerce with nominal financial investment.
