Matthew Rorvig of Mankato has been chosen as the recipient of a $1000 scholarship for the Right Skills Now (RSN) program presented by SCC's North Mankato Campus Foundation. In addition to the scholarship, Matthew will receive $200 in gift certificates for gasoline thanks to Northern Precision Tool of Owatonna.

The Right Skills Now program is a fast track precision manufacturing training program designed to enable both job seekers and employers to meet the current demand for skilled workers. The RSN program at South Central College is designed to give students the necessary entry level skills to safely and accurately operate CNC machine tools. The RSN program begins Monday, March 12, 2012 at SCC.

The next sessions for RSN will begin Fall Semester, August 27, 2012, on both the Faribault and North Mankato campuses of South Central College.
