South Central College’s Practical Nursing program has moved from accepting applications just once a year to twice a year. For the first time, individuals may now apply in June, as well as the traditional January application period. Applications will be accepted through June 27. Students interested in applying to the Practical Nursing Program in June also need to take the HESI Admission Exam, which will be offered June 10, 17, and 19. The cost is $35.00. South Central College’s Practical Nursing program has diploma and AAS degree options. Graduates from the program are prepared to serve as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). South Central College has had a nursing program in Faribault since 1958 and North Mankato since 1968.
