South Central College’s Center for Business and Industry names new Director of Professional and Continuing Education
South Central College’s Center for Business and Industry (CBI) is proud to announce Anne Willaert as the new Director of Professional and Continuing Education. In this position, Willaert will be responsible for meeting the ever changing needs of individual learners, business, and organizations within the region through the development of CBI’s professional and continuing education programs. This includes expanding online offerings, increasing the number of occupational certification classes, and seeking out new program opportunities for the college’s stakeholders.
Willaert brings a wealth of knowledge to CBI in the areas of project design, development, and management. Most recently, she was the Director of Grants and Special Projects for South Central College’s (SCC) 4.5 million dollar health care grant from the Department of Labor. Prior to her time at SCC, she worked as the Project Design and Development Director for the Healthcare Education Industry Partnership (a program developed under MnSCU) and played a significant role in the development and promotion of numerous state, regional, and national grants and health care programs. Willaert holds a Bachelor’s degree from in the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and a Master’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
