By Shelly RockmanThe Foundation just completed the 2011 scholarship application review and selection process. Students will be recognized on Monday, April 25th at the annual noon ceremony in the Faribault campus cafeteria. Ninety students will receive $80,100 in scholarships! The Faribault Campus Foundation will also sponsor another Presidential Scholar from Faribault Senior High School.
The 2010-11 annual fund drive has raised over $98,000 toward the goal of $105,000.
As we work on wrapping up the calls, if you haven’t made your personal gift to support the Foundation’s work, please do it today.
The Foundation’s 8th annual donor appreciation reception at the SCC student house project #44 – the Minnesota State Academy for the Blind Academy + Transition Program – will take place from 2 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 30th.
The next McEducator Night hosted by Faribault Student Senate is Monday, April 18. Help them raise money for their Student Leader Scholarship by stopping in and making a purchase from 5 – 7 p.m.
