South Central College allows individual programs to select their assessment cycle dates. These cycles run for one year in length, and can vary based upon the type of assessments utilized by the program. For example, the Automotive Service Program utilizes the NOCTI exam, which is a standardized test which is scored externally. Once these results are obtained, which can take several weeks, the program can then analyze and report out their results. Other programs rely upon industry certification or licensure, which can take weeks or months before results are known.
