$2,000 Scholarships for New SCC Machining Students Starting Fall Semester

Companies throughout the region have a serious need for trained machinists, providing abundant opportunities for individuals who have the required technical skills. South Central College’s Computer Integrated Machining program provides a comprehensive education for those who want to start out or advance in this rewarding field that offers high wages.

Now there is another reason for students to start in the Computer Integrated Machining program at SCC this Fall Semester - a scholarship of up to $2,000 for at least 16 qualifying students. These special scholarships have been made possible thanks to the generosity of donors of SCC’s Faribault and North Mankato Campus Foundations, who recognize the need for machinists in our region.

Fall Semester starts August 21 and the deadline to apply for the scholarship is August 15. For details on the program, visit www.southcentral.edu/machining and for details on the scholarship, including an application, visit www.southcentral.edu/scholarships
